Drum Brake Enhancement “The Matching Process”
More stopping power is necessary for vintage racing bikes to have adequate braking performance.
The “LMP Matching Process” has four key steps:
LMP matches the wheels, the hub, the brakes and controls.
1- LMP’s performance engineers true and balance the wheel.
2- LMP engineers match the inside of the drum by trimming the steel and make the drum exactly round down to the nearest 1000th.
3- Brake Arcing is the third step in making the matching process to produce real results. Improved stopping power comes from precise fit and our angled shoe design.
4- The final step is to send our clients home with a fresh cable and a new Magura brake perch/lever combination.
